The Ark is a plank on frame model, the frame is made out of Popular Wood, the deck is planked in American Cherry Wood, and the Arks hull is planked in Black Walnut Wood. The left gable end of the Ark is exposed this allows you to look through the model to see its construction, the right end of the Ark is planked.
